In a dramatic end, Mohamed Merah, 23, was shot dead in the head. He wanted in the deaths of three French paratroopers, three Jewish schoolchildren and a rabbi—all killed since March 11 in what Merah reportedly told police was an attempt to «bring France to its knees.»
He wants to «bring France (the country provides nationality and safe place for 5 million Muslims) to its knees.» So we must ask: Muslims in Europe…. what are they want?
Before that we must ask: why we trapped in a situation in which we shoot the people and officers of the place we shared living in?
Why one of us (we as Muslims), shoot to death innocent schoolchildren? Why, why and why in a series of never ending questions?
Some of the researchers and officers in Europe said before” The slow progress made on Muslim integration” will be the main problem of identity, Europe will face, while others deeply involving in the study of the phenomena of Muslims in Europe said: The radical religious groups use the desperate feeling of young Muslim generations from economy crisis and the war against Islamic counties, Europe shared in, to expand their effect between young Muslims. And some blamed right wings and racial policies in many European countries.
Many Europeans asked why European Muslims weren’t doing more to assimilate and respect the culture of their new countries.
The question is logic and real, but it depends on “Secularism”, which allows all groups, including Muslims, to practice their religion as they believe in, but Europeans till now didn’t reach the point: Radical Muslims whom are very active now, consider “Secularism” as an idea of evil, while Europeans treat with it as essential way of living in which the practice of religion is fundamentally a personal, private act detached from public, political life.
Now Muslims in Europe deeply try the opposite way: public and political life as a mirror of their religious commitment, so they are faced with questions related to their identity, affiliations, aspirations and lifestyle.
However like other Muslims in Europe, were at the receiving end in the crisis, Mohamed Merah, as a symbol of.
So what we need 1st is: stop double standards. And this is a responsibility of both Muslim clerics and European authorities. Stop building mosques and Islamic centers as bases of Jihadists and killers. Stop giving leader of political Islamic parties and groups any right to live freely in Europe unless they committed by the law, that they will end their ideology and political activity.
Be clear and sharp: Muslim immigrants and citizens are here to be live with whole respect to the values of societies, they are living in.
Without that, there is no surprise to see more killing take place by tens of Merah’s supporters and followers.
Radical and political Islamic groups and parties converting Arab and Muslim countries to ruins, without hesitation they will do the same here (in Europe) if there is no one stop them.
